Whether you are interested in braces or Invisalign, we are here to help you transform your smile into a smile that makes you feel confident and ready to take on the world!

Online Paperwork & Planning For Your Appointment
Don’t forget to complete your online paperwork to save you time at your visit. If you didn’t get a chance to complete your online paperwork and you arrive 10 minutes early for your appointment, you can fill out the forms on one of our laptops while you wait!

If you need to brush your teeth, head over to the sink. We have toothbrushes, toothpaste, and mouthwash for your convenience! Dr. Bowen or one of our smile artists will grab you from the waiting room to get you started for your appointment! When planning for your first appointment here at Great Big Smiles, be sure to include whoever will be financially responsible for you or your child’s treatment! This will allow for a smooth consultation and the ability to start treatment on the very same day as your consult. If the financially responsible party is not available for your appointment in the office, we are able to include him or her in your meeting via a video chat!

Scans, X-rays, Photos, & Exams
Your visit will start off with a scan, pictures, and a panoramic x-ray of your smile! Your scans and x-rays will help Dr. Bowen and Great Big Smiles determine your orthodontic treatment and it won’t hurt one bit. When your scans are complete, your treatment coordinator will ask you a few questions and prepare you for your meeting with the doctor. Next, the doctor will provide an exam of your smile, discuss your concerns, go over your treatment plan, and answer any of your questions!

Same-Day Treatment
Once you receive your recommended treatment and sign your Great Big Smiles contract, you can get started! Our patients love that we start treatment on the very same day as their consultation. When starting your same day treatment for braces, we typically apply top or bottom brackets to avoid excessive pain or discomfort. When starting with Invisalign, we will put in your Invisalign order and call you as soon as it is delivered to the office.

Until Next Time
When your appointment is over, one of our smile artists will walk you to the front desk where we can get you set up for your next appointment! We call this central command, and the ladies in charge of central command are there to assist you with anything you need!
